From the Group Chat: Winter Real Estate Finds in Upstate NY
A well-edited mix of winter listings across the Catskills and Hudson Valley
Howdy, and happy Wednesday!
As we head into February, new listings on the Zillow feed are moving at a slower pace than other times of year. Late winter is often considered real estate’s “slow season” in Upstate New York, but there’s still some very noteworthy homes hitting the market across the Hudson Valley and Catskills.
After spending the past couple of weeks dreaming about California — especially Southern California’s historic midcentury architecture, which took the spotlight in our last From the Group Chat list — we’re back to highlighting Upstate listings that caught our eye.

This week’s roundup includes an elevated new construction that feels anything but cookie-cutter, a grand Queen Anne Victorian above Kingston’s waterfront, a turn-of-the-century Northern Catskills charmer, a cozy colonial just off the Hudson, and a farmhouse-turned-recording-studio-turned-farmhouse just outside of Woodstock.
Late winter still has some gems hitting the market in the Catskills and Hudson Valley. See some of our favorites below.
